Wonder if Kouyate can make a difference? Took him 5 or 6 games to get going at the start of the season. Good player.

He will probably need a bit of time to get up to speed.

Wouldn't it be great if Lingard finally stepped up and produced...

His fitness has just not been up to it. In fairness, ironically showed against Spurs, Lingard's best position is occupied by MGW so seems unlikely he'll contribute much. Could play both but not sure that's been overly effective.

Don't want to sound harsh but in that case we would have been better off giving a squad place to LOB or Steve Cook.

Steve Cooper has confirmed that Cheikhou Kouyaté has returned to training this week. Great news.

Back to not knowing our best 11 now though, that’s what worries me

Better than knowing it but it's not very good!

Johnson injury didn't look that bad, probably would've played on if the game was close. (Hopefully)

Is that official? Did Cooper say anything in interviews?

Coops said Jonno felt his groin and they will assess next week.
