We need to take the point now, lick our wounds and move on with a few of the injured players coming back. A draw's a poor result but the loss, which was looking highly likely, would have been a calamity.

Before the end of Jan we had an absolute baller and match winner in MGW and then Cooper f***s his game up by bringing in Wood whos contributed the square root of f**k all.

And with the subs Surridge had a demonstrable record of changing games. But no, Cooper now chooses to bring on Ayew who, guess what, has contributed the square root of f**k all.

I thought Ayew did ok actually.

Just ok in contrast to Wood. Surridge needs to get a new club because Cooper clearly doesnt recognise his talent.

Amd if we're slugging it out against Everton for 17th in the run in then my monies on them. They showed more desire, more of a phsyical edge, a threat in the box from set plays and generally understood what was at stake today. We meanwhile huffed and puffed and showed none of thr above in possibly the most important game of the season so far.

Re Wood, I'm all for playing a big man up front but he's come in, upset the balance of the side and actually set us back but contributing zero.

The one time we actually played it into his feet he laid it off nicely for MGW to shoot for the first goal. But instead of doing that we seem determined to try and cross for him all the time.

3 CDM is for like next week, against Spurs away............not for this week against Everton.

Performances have been poor for a few weeks now (including man city). Had a real opportunity to put a little daylight between us and the bottom 3 and we've missed out.. a draw isn't great but a loss would have been much worse..

Agree that our midfield looked so negative and struggled to disrupt Everton's play for large periods.

Credit to Brennan with 2 incredibly important goals. One positive was seeing yatesy back on the pitch.. do we know what his injury was?

He had some kind of virus rather than an injury.

This dip in form has cost us that little points advantage we had built up agaisnt the bottom 3. Now we're right back in the mix and cant see where the next win will come from. I understand thst the squad is down to bare bones but imo Cooper's showing a bit of nievity of late. Thr clubs below us are upping their games and we're losing form at the wrong time.

We are limited in defence because of injuries but when Boly and Nhiakate are back Worrall should be nowhere near the first team. Serg was poor today giving the ball away too often and his crossing was utter tripe. Colback just isn’t good enough mangala should be ahead of him or even scarpa as he can tackle and can go forward. Wood…. I’ve made my feeling clear. Should never start. Impact sun lat 20 but not from the off we looked better when he went off. He offers very little.
Overall a poor game against a poor team. It didn’t look like a premier league game it looked like 2 average championship teams and that is worrying. Where are we going to pick up 12-15 points. It’s hard to see another win playing like that.
Cooper needs to sort it ASAP there is only so much good will that will be afforded with performances like that and it’s been the same for the last 4 games now.
