So one or two articles in today's papers that Steve is a wanted man and a few clubs will be targeting him in the summer. Just for the record I don't believe that EM would stand in his way IF (big if) Steve indicated that he would be interested and up for a move. Only if Steve indicated and pushed for it.

Depends on the offer. It’s unrealistic to think Cooper will get a top job yet he hasn’t really achieved anything significant much as we love him. Potter struggling at Chelsea where they took a gamble on an upcoming manager. Clubs more likely to go for someone like Marco Silva.

The other point though as everyone knows most managers are always just a few games from the sack. If we do go down not convinced EM would keep Cooper anyway.

Chelsea appointing Potter was an outlier. Clubs like them (top six) dont appoint managers like Cooper. So would Cooper leave us for a Leeds or West Ham type club. Dont think so.

We never know what goes on at board level, always got to look at the bigger picture with them, we all love cooper and think he's doing a awesome job.. and want him to stay.

But when you look at the board business side they might think, he's doing a good job, but with the tools we have provided could he be doing better? Should he of done better before the injuries to give us a safer standing point than what we are at now? Will the away form take us down? Why are we not trying something different away? Why have we changed how attacking we were in the champ, etc etc etc..

I'm a cooper fan and want him to do well.. but I don't own the club and thrive on success, evangelos wants us to stay in this league.. and if we do stay up.. even by 1 point.. then how long does cooper actually get next season of were the same..

I just try to look from both sides.. so if cooper does go. Which I don't want.. then I'm prepared for it ha

There is absolutely no way Cooper is underachieving !
We are punching above our weight.
We have an entirely new squad that he has had to perform miracles to get to this point.
This is not football manager, this is 30 players who largely have met each other for the first time, playing in the toughest league in the world. Also like it or not, the bulk recruitment drive, which of course was completely necessary, has meant some of the players have struggled to hit the levels.

Coops is an elite coach, make no doubt about that.
However he does love it here and I think it would take something pretty special to pull him away from us.
