Next Few Games

I don’t get to many games due to living in the South West. I’m going to both Fulham and West Ham and I can’t wait. Last game I went to was Southampton away and the one before that was Bristol City (the Lyle game). Hopefully I’ll get to see two more wins!

Fulham have struggled for goals of late  - 3 blanks albeit agaist newcastle, spurs and chelsea. Its one of those that on paper would make me think home win but I thought that last year.

I imagine we will set up to hit on the counter as we did against them last season so key will be how we'll we can absorb their threat

As for city, it will be a difficult match regardless. Not expecting anything even from a rotated man City side. But hopefully they can make more of a match of it than they did in august

Im hopeful we may get a surprise 1-1 v City. In August we were in awe of them. I think we will show them a little less respect this time around.

Yep if we can beat Everton at home we are in a good position.
Everton play Leeds next weekend, so there is a chance we could put real daylight there if we can beat Everton.

Always a fun thread, end of League Cup and Transfer window seems a good time to look ahead.

The next 7 games takes us up until the next international break, where we can take stock again. Got a game vs Leeds to rearrrange at some point too, no idea when that could be played, the fact they're still in the FA Cup might limit options for that.

So what do we think, 4 home games although against City so doesn't count really. Think this shows how important the Leeds and Everton games are to win as they might be the only wins in the next two months. Maybe a home draw with Newcastle or perhaps at West Ham or Fulham. Otherwise any other points we get are against the grain.

What's a good points haul? 7?

4 so far from a possible 9, pretty decent return really. Beating Everton would make 7 with 2 other winnable games plus the Spurs one (which may well coincide with their champs league game)

If we could win 2 of these next 4 games (particularly if it was West Ham and Everton) it really feels like we could break the back of this relegation battle. I see it as an opportunity rather than a necessity.

Personally think spurs game is more winnable than Everton now Dyche got his feet under the table there.

That's 4th place Spurs away who just beat City at home a few weeks ago or 17th placed Everton at home where we are unbeaten in the league since September. I get Spurs aren't amazing but the Everton is way more winnable.

Dyche has started well obviously the bounce has worn off by the time we play them. They've got Arsenal away before our game weirdly which is good for us too. They've tightened up a bit as you'd expect but still don't have many goals in them.
