I'm gonna agree with Sniff on this one, Wood was very average but he wasn't the only one. The issue was the constant giving away of the ball in midfield. Night and day when Shelvey came on. Just need to get players fit as quickly as possible really.
Also, Dennis. That is all.

Bang on Wassy. Ayew did nothing when he came on either but not really his fault.
Before Wood came we had only scored twice away from home all season, just saying.

I actually felt sorry for Dennis.
He was part of the night and day contrast between the first and second halves.
Great penetration and beating a man….. except he can’t hit a barn door and keeps making the wrong decisions.
I think he needs some one on one coaching and a bit of love from cooper and then he might actually be our surprise package.
I’m not holding my breath though!

We just couldn't get a grip in midfield and when we did we gave the ball away cheaply. When Shelvey came on and that stopped the game changed.

Encouraged by performances of Felipe and Shelvey. They give us something to build on hopefully but we're not going to make much progress unless we can pass the ball accurately and consistently.

Well, my negative summary would be.........
Far too many stray passes yesterday. Worrall always seems to do it........I think 5 or more of his passes never made it to a Forest player and just gave the ball away. I hope Boly is back soon.......would be good to have Boly and Felipe in the CB positions.
Serge.........too hit and miss......not consistent.
Woods.........not settled at all well, looks 2 yards off then pace and really very match unfit.
Dennis.........seems like his confidence is totally shot.
Positives - JJS looks class, the whole game changed when he came on. Felipe looked good. Navas still looks good.
Not a good day at the office.............on to beating City at the WFCG.

We really struggled to progress the ball. Lots of weak passes from Worrall and Aurier to try and start attacks which were easily cut out. Once again we didn’t attack down the left very often. Scarpa seemed to start out there, but also had to cover inside often. I thought Felipe looked calm on the ball and had a decent passing range, but Shelvey was a bright spark for me and I think he has to start. We don’t have anyone else with his ability to collect the ball from deep and dictate the play.
