Still early days but is MGW the best player we have had since Stanley Collymore. Andy Reid was brilliant especially when he returned for his second spell but I think MGW is even more talented. Leicester were poor but he was exceptional yesterday. Even during a quiet game his ability stans out.

Wow, huge statement that George. I'm gonna need to think about that.

He was immense yesterday and he seems to be developing a great understanding with BJ.

The 2nd goal was the perfect mix of energy and skill. Bicycle kick to clear, cheeky and timely move into space to get the ball back, great turn away from the DM, carried the ball directly forward, outside of the boot perfectly to Brennan, Goal. I could rewatch it 100 times.

Best since Collymore?

Certainly not far off. Without doubt we have had nobody in the last 23 years by simple virtue of where we were. One or two developed into better players after us, thinking Jenas, prime Reidy, maybe Antonio.
Our last Premier League stint we had PVH who was sublime when on form despite being a bit of a nob. Then Stevie Stone and before them the Frank Clark team that had a few fantastic players Collymore and Roy being the best.
But thats 5 players Ive named over nearly 30 years so MGW aint bad!

Not a lot of competition to be fair which is sad.

I thought MGW had a slow start to his Forest career but like most of our side he's been excellent since November.

He’s the best footballer at the club.
We have 2 of Cooper’s 2017 World Cup winners - although one is on loan.
Talented and a 90 minute man.
I can see why Steve stuck his neck out.
