You need to let the idea of entertainment go for now JL. If we can grind out a few 1-0s with an 10 man defence and 1 shot on target but that gets us to 38 points its fine by me.
Admittedly thats a tough watch if we fall short but its the realistic way.

We could then just go for it for the remaining games of this season and have some fan entertainment and yes away goals, puts us out of our misery if we accept the inevitable but enjoy any fun that comes our way!!!!
No way.
Thank God there is not such a defeatist attitude among the player's and staff.

Really hope not MR but our away form needs to improve dramatically- we also need a bit more from some of the players.

Sniffer, definitely not a defeatist attitude just maybe a touch of realism? If we went down we could come back much better prepared for PL football, many a time you have said on this forum that we should not have gone up last year and we not prepared or planned for.
SM, I want to be entertained while watching my football, its very expensive these days in both time and money, not bothered which division we are playing in, PL is not what it once was these days, majority of clubs are going to continually struggle similar to ourselves, I know what I would choose

Not a bad set of results really over these last two games. Means we can lose tomorrow and not lose any ground. Id have taken that when looking at games v man utd and chelsea.

Even a point would be decent tomorrow but a win would really set us up.

I don't think you can look at what points we have got so far as an average, it's too simplistic. We were new to the league, didn't have our full squad for the first few games and have also already played away to the top 4 clubs. We can get most of the points we need with our home form and just pick up a few points away.
