Wonder if this year it could be different with 8 or more in the mix right up until the end. Think it might be all very close with just a few points separating 12th downwards.

It's a bit early for this but 4 of our last 8 games are against Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

That's actually not necessarily a bad thing. It means partly we've had easier games earlier on so had the chance to accrue more points.

Secondly, those sides are often playing lots more matches in various cup comps so are slightly more beatable than usual. Also, if they're in contention they might bottle it, Everton showed this last year. Took points off big teams to stay up despite having what looked an impossible schedule as they used home advantage plus tiring/distracted top sides.

Possibly signifies that we've reached peak income value for the premier league as it currently exists. That, and now the euro super league is dead, these owners want out.

Gary O'Neil been given the Bournemouth job full time.

Not sure if that is good or bad for us?

Wolves have started strengthening by signing Brazilian attacker Matheus Cunha who looks like a very good player.

Cunha is Brazil under-23s’ record goal scorer with an impressive 21 strikes in 23 games.

Most of the teams at the bottom will strengthen. Think Wolves will get out of it personally, not sure about Southampton. Reckon Bournemouth will be dragged back in.

The team who could yet end up in big trouble is Brentford for me. Toney facing a long ban and they seem very dependent on him. Not sure when any ban would take effect from but reckon he will be out for the season.

Just watched a bit of Everton v Wolves. I reckon we're better than both.

Bit frustrating he's not banned yet if he's going to be. I definitely agree they could get dragged in without him.

Southampton will finish bottom I reckon, they signed their own death certificate with the Nathan Jones appointment!

Nothing against Southampton as a club but really don't like Jones so hope he gets them relegated. Would use up one of the three relegation places too.

They're losing at home to Brighton today.
