Just realised its a bit better than that and that Wassy can’t count  there are only 7 games in that list so 9 from 7.

The downside is that 8 of those 9 points were gained at home. We have to keep up the home form and start grinding out a few more away too.

Only 8 games until the World Cup (ignoring League Cup), you've got to assume this means Cooper has at least these games to show improvement now (hopefully):

Villa (H)
Wolves (A)
Brighton (A)
Liverpool (H)
Arsenal (A)
Brentford (H)
Palace (H)

So looking at that list, Villa, Brentford, Palace and Wolves are all winnable. 

It does feel like the next two games are pretty critical though otherwise there's a real danger of this 5 game losing streak becoming 10.

Still doesn't make great reading really, going to need to get a few results in games we wouldn't really expect anything.

So if my maths is correct we got 9 points.

I think we can be very satisfied with that.

Only lost two as well and one of those was due to missing a late penalty. We look like a good CF away from being a decent team now.

If you look at the Premier League form tables looking at last 6 games we are 12th.
If you look at the last 5 games we are an impressive 9th.
There is definitely hope.

The next 7 games takes us up until the next international break, where we can take stock again. Got a game vs Leeds to rearrrange at some point too, no idea when that could be played, the fact they're still in the FA Cup might limit options for that.

Have to be looking at the Leeds, West Ham and Everton games as potential to pick up points. If we were to get 7 that would put us on 28 points from 28 games which in theory would put us on target for 38 points which *should* be enough to stay up.

So beating Leeds, Everton and one of Fulham or West Ham away plus another draw? Seems a tall ask. Hopefully we can get another Liverpool type result that is massively unexpected.

That run of games is brutal. think 4 points from that run is realistic. Going to be hoping Southampton, Bournemouth and Everton also have a torrid time as well.
