Just did not see that coming with the amount of changes and Spurs playing their first team pretty much.

Same team on Saturday minus Mangala?

Great performance from our lads and hopefully the club will be bouncing on into Saturday now. Every player on the pitch was decent.
Taking nothing away from oir performance but how poor were spurs tonight? The talent they had on the pitch they should be ashamed of themselves.

Wow that would be a big call from Cooper. I cant see him doing it.

No me neither, although maybe only Freuler, MGW, Hendo come back in? Surely Lingard has to play on Sat after today.

Surridge ahead of Awoniyi in the striker pecking order now in my mind. Lodi in fact does have quality, Lingard was great, Mangala brill, Wozza assured, Boly composed.

Am I asleep or something? Am I going to wake up to a 0-3 score?

We can go deep into this tournamant now with decent draws. No London clubs left and the top clubs dont look too fussed.

That was just like last year. Biggest difference? Surridge for me. Ran his bollocks off and tied up their left centre half creating pockets of space for Lingard. Yates was the best player on the park for me - an unbelievably strong performance - mangala ran the game in freulers position and was excellent - shame he got sent off as he was excellent and took the ball off the defence in right areas.
Awoniyi- he was game but he really is a poor footballer - whoever scouted him instead of Davies needs shooting and pissed myself when Aurier basically pushed him out the way in the build up to the second goal. Perhaps he will improve in time as he has the physicality. Worrall passed out better but for me was overshadowed by Boly who was excellent and defended very well.
Also Hennessy was excellent - his distribution was no nonsense but on the money and handling and positioning brilliant. Good at crosses and dare I say gave me much more confidence than Henderson.
A really enjoyable evening but Spurs were shocking. Interesting that our bench were constantly tapping up Spence!

Worked well obviously from the result but we opened them up on numerous occasions. Lingard playing the No10 how we expected him to be. I was near the front and watching him at the end, he seemed genuinely delighted, not in a cocky way just really happy and was getting appreciation from all the staff, very good to see.
Surridge I thought was superb and a menace throughout. 2 games 2 identical assists, would like him to start on Saturday.. Taiwo to be honest I was less convinced about but he put himself about.
Thought a few in the Tottenham looked like they were more concerned with not getting injured before the world cup.

Great team result, I really hope he plays the same players against Palace

Amazing what happens when you play players in their correct position (Lingard), you dont put Cook in defence (clean sheet) and you have 2 strikers on the pitch and not MGW/Johnno.

Will Steve learn from this ? Hope so.

Great result but finally playing Yates/Mangala/LOB................Hurray............Freuler for me offers nothing.

Agree with this. Game was won in midfield. Yates, Mangala, OBrien and Lingard absolutely destroyed Spuz and totally protected our back 4.

Spuz were awful though, really awful, their Fans were sore losers too and a few seemed to learn the hard way on Radcliffe Rd that it doesn't pay to act like that here. One Copper properly filled someone in too.

Lodi - even outside of his goal - was another who really showed what a top top player we could have on our hands assuming the patience we all knew we needed is forthcoming.

Hennessy wasn't tested much, but boy did he look assured. Our GK department is certainly in safe hands......sorry.

Charlton only London club left in Caraboa Cup now I believe.

Just to keep with 12 month tradition:

Positives
- Always good to stuff Spuz, horrible club.
- Ran a top team ragged.
- Actually put some chances away.
- CBs grew into the game after a bit of a shaky start and in last 20 minutes were immense.
- My Caraboa Cup final prediction is still on.
- All players contributed to this win.

Negatives
- Should have been 5-0.
- Mangalas red card, the lad had played himself into starting line up for Satuday in my book.
- Spurs were so sh1te I'm nervous that playing a more motivated Palace team will be a shock.
- England's main CF looked awful a week before I get on the plane to Doha...

Cracking night on the whole. Same again Saturday...please.
