I sensed on Tuesday that there was something different to the performance. For me it just comes down to orgnaisation. Get the basics right and then let the talent come through. I saw it was begining to happen on Tuesday, and it just got better today. A performance at the exact opposite end of the spectrum to the way the players played at Leicester two or three weeks ago, which deserved all the criticism it got.

I understand his Dad was there today to see us for the first time in the Prem, having watched all of the games last year.

Coops seems to be bringing the lads closely together and developing some mentality.

We have been poor and lacking cohesion. Fulham and Bournemouth matches are the ones that did us. We were naive and too open. Fans were also to blame a bit there as at 2-0 and 1-0 crowd got restless as we were being defensive. In both games second half we came out too open when we could and should have ahut up shop. Those 6 points would have had us sitting pretty.
We are in a hell of a fight but we aren’t cast away on our own. We have three matches that could give us a decent chance of a fight. Get a draw or a narrow loss at arsenal - two wins v palace and Brentford and it’s well and truly game on. Get 3 points from those three and we might just be still in there. Any less then a real uphill battle. Chelsea and Man U first games back after the WC are not kind…

Very poor from Cooper today I thought.
He got the tactics completely wrong.
That is now 4-0 at Leicester, 5-0 at Arsenal and 6-0 at Manchester City.
If we don't get a minimum of 4 points from the next two games then he could be in trouble at the break.

We were saying that Sniff. With performances having improved of late, if they drop off again, I dont think he gets another chance. He has to make progress. All I saw today was a return to the shoddy defending, 3 poor goals conceded in 8 minutes and yet another goal against from outside the area. It was like we've regressed again.

Who is going to come in and make us any better than Cooper can. His record at Forest is remarkable. Surviving in the premier league with the squad we had was always going to require another miracle. People keep telling me we have a good enough squad to stay up but when you start comparing it with those teams around us like Leeds Villa Wham Wolves Southampton Everton Palace Bournmouth, I don’t see it as being any better. Those teams also have the advantage of having premier league experience. Sacking the best manager we have had in 30 years would be stupid. Even if we get relegated we ain’t going to get back anytime soon if we fall back into the tried and failed route of sacking managers when they go on a losing run

All very valid points but if the same things keep happening on the pitch and the problems aren't addressed then is he not in tricky position? All the effort of the last few weeks has been thrown away today. People say these games are free hits. They arent when the side gets clubbed by 5 or 6 to nil. It affects the confidence of the fans, the players and the owners. I have no issue with us getting beaten today, no other club has gone there and not been beaten afterall, but the performance was pathetic and its left us back at square one. We've scored 1 away goal all season and conceded 19.

Klop was right........we all tried to ignore it, gloss over it.......but had VVD put those chances away then Liverpool would have been easy winners.

Today was back to reality.

I think Cooper has 2 games left, then he is gone if we do not win.

EM has tried everything, money, players, new contract for Cooper...........but.................its still not working and Cooper does not appear to be planning for the future or indeed picking his best players.........and the performances show it.

Something will give soon enough.......the World Cup break is perfect for something to happen.

Giraldi will have a good look over the next day or two and no doubt he will be reporting back to EM what he sees.

For the first time yesterday there seemed to be a lack of effort, determination, willingness and fight. Some didn't even look like they want to play for Cooper any more which is very worrying. Over to you Mr. Giraldi...
