No there isnt. My instict is telling me to try a change now. It has been for a few weeks now. Ive seen perfomances get worse rather than better. Its so pathetic on the pitch. And Cooper signing a contract hasnt made a jot of difference as I knew it wouldnt. I absolutely love the guy but he's not getting any end result. You cant go on like that. No results, no performances and no improvement.

Keinan Davis playing for Watford and has scored. Why the hell wasnt he signed? The recruitment lads deserved to be sacked just for that.

So why did EM give Coops another contract ?

I wonder if the big man is now regretting that decision.

EM gave Cooper a new contract because the "fanbase" was screaming for it - according to DT this was "fan power" at its best.

So its all down to that fan power now..........they have to accept "It is what it is" as Johnson and Cook start every game we play shit and lose.

We should be playing 4-4-2.........but he wants Johnson playing every game.........so we lose the midfield every game.

Johnson and trying to play him every game is our weakness..........and we have to accept that is Coopers weakness as well.

This is the PL....not the Championship and Johnson is not good enough for the PL.

I will only believe that Cooper has turned the corner.......when we start a game and Johnson is not starting.

Then we might "move on" and "move forwards" under Cooper.

He is still lost......like a rabbit in the headlights......and unable to see what is clear to be seen by most people.

Anyway, "fan power" will be happy with all these losses and getting relegated - because they dont care what happens only that Cooper remains our manager.

So "it is what it is" for the rest of us.

Perhaps we need the "Transfer Panel" back in January ?

I thought the response from the fan base re Cooper's contract was staggering. Whether it be twitter, on here, other forums, podcasts etc all were saying the same thing in that everything was going to be fine from that point on now he's signed. Well it isnt and it wont be. The same things are happening on the pitch, the players still look like pub players and the defeats continue.

What DT said about fan power is bull shit. EM is far to stubborn and battle hardened to be affected by so called fan power.

Cooper had a contract on the table since July it was not something new it's just that one or two details were changed like the contract length but lets not kid ourselves we all know that a contract means nothing these days.

I fully expect Giraldi will asses the situation now, he might even speak to one or two of the senior player's and what he sees and what he hears will be reported to EM and then Cooper's fate will be decided. That is not ITK but just my take on the current situation.

Agree Sniff it was nothing to do with fan power although he may have been testing the water to see if Cooper still carried the support of the fanbase. But it didn’t change EMs mind.
Yep the new contract means nothing as to Coopers ability to survive, there will be a break clause in it.
Giraldi’s influence continues to worry me, I cannot see him being a source for good.

Steve Bruce is available and Charnley and Steve have worked together before...
