Jordan's latest comments on TalkSport suggesting we are holding talks in London right now... Rafa at guess

ForestBoffin is having a go on Twitter.
ForestBoffin @ForestBoffin · 20h Are #nffc really going to throw the baby out with the bathwater? Players & manager are good enough. The issues are 100% unfamiliarity, a lack of trust and confidence forged by time together. Criminal if they self-destruct. Chose this route, have the balls to see it through. ForestBoffin @ForestBoffin · 19h If the club thought #nffc would have clicked by now after this amount of change, it's poor judgement. Changing things after entirely forseable adversity would make it look like they don't know what they're doing.

What Boffin didn't mention is that if you want to see the plan through then you need a coach who is willing to sign a long term contract. We don't have one of them at the moment.
Panic on the streets of London

We don't have one of them at the moment. He's not going to just turn down a massive contract on a whim though. He must've had a pretty good reason, whatever that may be they should've been able to come to some kind of agreement to resolve. Either way, would his position really be any safer right now if he'd signed that contract that they offered?

This is a really interesting debate. It's tough at the moment but I can see the logic behind giving him time to develop a new team identity and with that in place to be the best person to take us back to the Premier League if we don't survive this season. That only works if he is under contract for that period. If he isn't, will he be willing to stay and fight it out in the Championship if we do get relegated? It's more likely he will chose to be off to another job leaving us having to find a replacement in the Champ. And we know how that works - we've had 20 years of it. Club are in a difficult position. Without his long term commitment, they have to look seriously at whether it needs a change. We are going to be in a position to appoint a much better coach while in the Premier League and with a chance of staying up then when its all too late.
I don't envy them having to make that decision

So, regardless of some of the briefings to media yesterday (Kostas Lianos etc) it looks like the game is up and we are actively talking to others (if Jordan is to be believed and the athletic story is true).
Reading between the lines, maybe it’s been ‘agreed’ that he gets to take Monday night and regardless of the result that’s the last stand?

Rafa is a dinosaur. Bring in Poch. He actually loves young players.
