Stevie Cooper
I think the thing for me is the moment he abandoned his 3-4-1-2 this signalled one last throw of the dice.

I just can't see why he chose the players he did to fulfil that system.

That would come as no surprise.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

That for me is the most puzzling to everyone, the selection yesterday no one could understand it.

When I saw the team I wrote its a do or die formation and I think it was purely aimed at going at them, getting the first goal in the hope Leicester would crumble. It nearly worked but then we left them so much space a tonking was inevitable. Its the gamble you only take if you think it really is the last throw of the dice.

Romano reckons Cooper will get one more match.

Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper is obviously under pressure.
But I understand his position is not as much under threat as recent reports suggest.
Forest are still likely to stick with him #NFFC

If we're keeping Cooper and sacking the rest, perhaps that will mean the issue that was previously causing Cooper to refuse to sign a new deal will also be gone/sacked?!

Someone in the club is obviously briefing the journos this afternoon. Percy and the Mail are both saying the same thing at the same time. Obviously a message is getting put out but what the hell is going on? Looks like a bit of a civil war. Is Cooper carrying out a coup?

From the rumour I heard that person wasn’t mentioned in the tweet about possible departures. Were that person to leave I doubt we would hear about it in the media regardless.
I stress it is only a rumour about “someone” being the reason for Coopers contract situation, we may all be barking up completely the wrong tree.

It'd be a bold statement if the big man sacked the chief exec, and the recruitment team and handed Cooper a new contract. I'd probably go with that for a few weeks. Something's got to change. There has to be some bloodletting.

And re EM's lad, he may well be some run-around playing with Dad's football club and wallet but he's effectively the owner so if it's true we have to just live with it, he aint going anywhere. And with all things in life, most problems are not black and white. He might share some responsibility, but as others have said, was he actually selecting players and handing them to Cooper? I doubt it. But someone's neck's going to end up being on the block and today's briefings suggest to me that Cooper is still in favour with the big man. So if it's not Cooper, and it's not the EM family then it doesn't look good for Dane and the recruitment team.

What I know so far:
There is no decision yet on Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper's future, his position is still not under as much threat as previously reported.
"Discussions are ongoing" and things are currently "calm" at the club despite the poor start #NFFC

Contract withdrawn, board also wonder why cooper would not commit in first place when first offered
