Yes agree with that R73 even if I still think Cooper is the right man to fix it. He may have been dealt a weak hand but right now he is playing it pretty badly.

I really do feel for Steve in this situation.

He knows 1000 times more about football than I do p, but surely he has made a number of bad judgement calls which have cost us points.

1) we were never going to get away with playing 2 in midfield against teams who simply have better players than us.
2) we have bought 4 CB’s in and he chose the 2 slowest on the books as a pairing for last nights game.
3) he is adamant he wants Brennan, MGW and Jesse starting together. It’s simply far too much of a luxury that we can’t afford.
4) he has been slow to react in game when we were in front and needed to see games out - Bournemouth and Fulham.

I understand it’s a tough job with so many new players,  it I just think there is a better tune you can get from this squad.

A lot of teams do play with 2 CMs, although perhaps not in the same way we had done before last night. Hard to disagree on the CB situation and the unwillingness to change it vs Bournemouth.

One of our major undoings though has simply been that Lingard, MGW and to a slightly lesser extent Brennan haven't been that good (and the lack of a decent CF signed) I think there is a world you can play all 3 if they are playing at the level perhaps we would've hoped for.

In a way Cooper is a victim of his own success.

We were not supposed to go up last season it wasn't in the script.

I feel for the bloke I really do but I can't see anyway at all that he can turn things around now. I see zero evidence.

He overachieved and got us up too early and now he's paying the price.

The Greeks saved the club from going bust, we wouldn't even have a club if Fawaz continued for another few months. I didn't see anyone else willing to buy the club at the time.

The Greeks then got us into the PL.

I think a tightening up would improve the players Wassy. It will allow their talent to come through if they can rely on holes being plugged. First rule of football is be organised. Sadly, we're not atm.

What is your problem with the Greeks exactly?

Lack of foresight and planning would be my main complaint, naivety in the early days can be forgiven but they should've learnt by now that you have to give things time, everything at this club is completely disposable to them, staff, players, managers... how many players signed and then booted out? Same with staff members too for example how many Heads of Communication have we had during the Greeks time here? It's a lot, it's 3 alone this season. The way they are running us right now isn't sustainable, you may argue it's the ruthless, winning nature of EM or whatever but if he carries on like this he (and therefore Forest) will win nothing and the club will gain a reputation as a toxic place to work both for staff behind the scenes and on the football side.

The Greeks do need to take ownership of the fact we needed 5 loanees in the first team last season. That was entirely their issue and its having a knock on effect now.
