Thought not
He's been shocking DR really shocking and Williams is not far behind. I said it a couple of weeks ago and I will say it again that Liverpool had our pants down.
35 mill spent on Williams and Awoniyi. Astonishing.

Attempting to make a case for the defence:
Awoniyi scores that early chance and Leicester collapse.
First goal, massive deflection, second and third great strikes, bit unlucky.
Ermmm, Maddison is really good, why isn't he in the England squad?
I'm out of options to defend.

Valient effort Wassy and Im normally taking that view but ive reached the point tonight where its gone on too long. Had similar feelings about Frank Clarke, Dave Basset, Sabri Lamouchi etc etc. All reached the point where they'd ran out of ideas and the scak was best for for both parties.

Did anyone look at team sheet and think it was the right team.
How can most of us pick a better team?
I look at the players we have and think we can match quite a few Prem teams. But each week we are looking worse, more desperate and lack ideas.

I'm out of options to defend. We only lost the second half 1-0.
We don't have to play Leicester every week?
I'm seeing some major holes in these positives. On this performance, losing 6-0 to man City actually feels quite good

I liked the team on the sheet. I dont like players being unable to perform basic footballer tasks like closing men down, passing to a team mate, shooting without a touch first, swing the foot at the ball and missing.

To survive in this league you need a clinical striker who can take chances. Awoniyi isnt one
2nd and 3rd great strikes, yep you get quality at this level, annoying isnt it?
Maddison is really good. Shockingly there are 19 other teams with some really good players too.
Out of options to defend. Well we do have defensive options, whether any combination of them is good enough to keep a clean sheet Im not convinced.

Have we though? The majority of our players have either no evidence of playing well in the prem or alternatively appear to be passed their time to be at the top.
I don't think many of these players would get in other teams from what we've seen so far.

So annoying, feels like it's happening every week! Is that just what happens at this level? I feel like I've watched a lot of prem football over the years and I've not seen this many champagne strikes.
Or is it we're letting teams get too close to the goal and giving players too much space to shoot?

Henderson might. But apart from him, none of our players gets in any other prem side.

Exactly- the spaces between players are too big and we are too passive. Have a feeling cooper may walk anyway.

Brennan Johnson’s run was almost goal of the century…
