I would argue Wassy what has Williams done in a Forest shirt to warrant keeping his place?

I think he's played fine personally, solid defensively, just not been fantastic at crossing. Even if you don't think he's been great, has he been bad enough to pick a guy that has barely played in 6 months and never really reached a particularly high level in his career to date? What's the benefit of change for change's sake?

What if Aurier plays at the same level as Neco or worse? He'll be subbed at 60 mins and not play again and all we'd have done is damage Neco's confidence and morale. He's only 21 and we invested good money in him, I would rather let him improve within the team and continue his development.

Plus at some point, by the law of averages he's going to stick one in the top corner!

Aurier = 57 games for PSG, 77 games for Tottenham, 19 games for Villareal and 81 international caps for Ivory Coast.

Williams = 13 games for Liverpool, 14 games for Fulham and 23 international caps for Wales.

For Villareal half those appearances last year were off the bench.

23 international caps at 21 is pretty good. This logic would imply you just would never play younger players? There's a reason NEco was worth 15m and Aurier was released on a free.

True, Aurier's contract was finished hence he left for free

Sad to say it but on the evidence I have seen so far Liverpool had our pants down with Williams. In his favour though he's still young so he can hopefully get better. There are reasons why he couldn't get into Fulham's team in the Championship last season at times and why they didn't try to sign him on a perm in the summer.

For some reason Williams has gone off the boil, agree his last 2 performances have been poor. However he started very very well for us (european team of the week remember?) and he remains our top ranked player stats wise for the season to date.
For me he gets one more chance but have no problem in dropping him for Aurier if he is poor again.

Yes unfortunately it’s time for Brennan and worrall to take a break out of the team
Brennan does not bring much work rate, physicality so is currently a passenger hopefully he will come back stronger
And poor Captain Joe seems to be out of his depth sadly not writing him off totally but he need to stop making all these mistakes and obvious fouls

What has MGW offered that Brennan hasn't. Particularly if you're playing him as a winger rather than a forward which you seem to be. Suits Brennan much more surely
