Forest - Liverpool in 1980. The newly built Executive Stand (now Brian Clough Stand) is open and crammed with people whilst still waiting for the roof to be completed. For those too young to remember all the fans who are packed in around the floodlight and under the scoreboard are Liverpool fans as that was the away end at the time.

Not really, I remember the Everton Fans in the famous match which we won 3-2, were in the East Stand Terrace towards the Trent End, I was in amongst them, crowds were mixed in those days.
Not sure when it changed to designated areas.

I was at the game and actually sat in the stand we lost 0-2.

Speaking of home defeats, can anyone remember a home game against Newcastle in the early/mid eighties when we got beaten? 

We lost the game after that little Brazilian striker of theirs scored. I can distinctly remember Steve Chettle trying to play him offside but got it completely wrong and the guy scored a winner when he got put through. 

I mention it because I often think about how utterly devastated I was at the time seeing Forest lose a home game. It just didn't happen then, or hadn't happened for quite a long time at least. A bit different to today unfortunately.
