We must change formation starting at Leicester,

It was obvious from the first 10 minutes against Newcastle , West ham we got lucky, Everton we rode or luck and eventually drew , spurs let us have the ball as the do to every team then cut us open did same to Leicester yesterday.
Both Bournemouth and Fulham did the same after having more possession etc than us let us have the ball the cut us open as our WB’s got caught high up pitch after losing possession. Same mistakes etc repeated .
Play a system to suit the players you have not the other way round .
When we eventually go to a back four i think it will be a mistake that sent Bowler to Oly as i think he could of changed the game friday .

The usual superb write up from Boffin.

Worth noting that one or two players who many of us have down as scapegoats are not entirely responsible.

He's very praising of Worrall!

Sounds like we have to change to 4231 until the squad become more comfortable with each other. It allows us to use Lingard in his best position too.

Boffin is the same chap who said Chris O’Grady was a top draw Championship striker based upon his analysis.

Have to disagree username. First half he was ok but 2nd he couldn’t keep in shape and would argue his cavalier attitude and rush to try and win possession too high up the pitch exposed us and led to at least 2 of the goals.

Although he was a unit, I thought he was slow and his passing to feet gave away the ball too many times in dangerous areas.

Opinions though……

You could easily be describing Joe on many occasions this season, West Ham and Everton games particularly

Boffin is entitled to his opinion but that is all it is it doesn't make him right.

We can judge for ourselves.

Yep. Agreed. I’m not defending Joe. Was just giving an opinion on Boly.

Agreed.

Just surprises me that he gets held up as some kind of deity.

Yes that Henshaw was the same until recently too.

Personally I don't need a load of spreadsheets and data to know whether someone is doing his job well or not.

So Syrianos out then?

Nobody is saying that SM. Don't think we can seriously compare Henshaw and Boffin to Syrianos can we?
