What did they say?

Just watched the presser from yesterday and it is fair to say in Coopers first appearance since the rumours of Brighton he quashed those pretty well. Certainly sounded like a man committed to us.

He looked much more relaxed than the last time we saw him.

Great to hear. Hopefully that's reflected in the selection and performance tonight.

I disagree, I think Cooper could have done a lot more to quash the rumours. He could have said that I am staying at Nottingham Forest and I am going to sign my new contract but he didn't say that. Instead he said exactly what I expected him to say which was  all rather diplomatic. Lets be honest he is not going to say I don't like Nottingham and I don't enjoy my work here and I don't like the people I work with etc is he? It was all very predictable.

I think he said as much as could be expected. What gain does he get by saying all those things in public Sniff? We dont need him to start a war at the club. If his dispute, whatever it may be, goes public then it only ends one way - him leaving the club . No party will want to be seen to be backing down if its all out in the public domain. That benefits no one.  I think he said something like "everyone who knows me knows what working for Nottingham Forest means to me". At least we know he's still committed to us now.

Sniffer, I take your point regards what SC did or did not say in the press conference. However as supporters its most important that we create positivity at ALL levels, that's how it worked for us last season and if we are ALL on the same page again then that will see us through, play nice, don't you agree?

No I don't agree. We have to say things the way they are not the way we want them to be.

Reds73, from the outside looking in all seems fine except for current results, but I am sure they will come eventually.

So and so but getting some wins and some points on the board would definitely help and hopefully heal the situation.
