To be fair you could say the same about Cooper. He could sign a new long term deal with us tomorrow but it wont make his job any safer should we lose 6 on the bounce. About the only difference would be getting some compo should he be poached.
You could say we are being sensible after years of paying off long contracts for the likes of Davies, Karanka Sabri etc

To be fair to that Boehly in his other sports team he appointed a coach in 2015 and he is still in charge now. So its hard to judge how the new Chelsea ownership will go.

Yes. Sky Sports News mentioned that and that he wanted to change the ethos at Chelsea.
