Stevie Cooper
Steve, do yourself a favour and do NOT go with that same back 3 again and do NOT go with those 3 number 10's again because if we get tonked I and I suspect many others will find it hard to be sympathetic.

And to add to that Steve please do not play our 3 least creative midfielders all together either.

I think in current circumstances Steve Cooper should pick whoever he trusts to (a) get us a clean sheet and (b) carry out his plan.

Just to play devils advocate here Zico

Are the player's who Cooper trusts actually good enough for the level we are currently playing at? On the evidence I have seen so far I am not convinced.

I dont think it's who he trusts Sniff, just who's games he's familar with.  The more he learns about the new lads the more they'll feature.

The political team sheet and substitutions needs to stop and it needs to stop now.

I don't quite understand. Are you suggesting he is being told to pick certain players Sniff ?

I think we may be over reading the situation. We know that Steve likes a settled team. That has been taken away from him for positive reason of promotion. Most players arrived after the season started and we started decent with 4 points from 3 games. In those teams he integrated Lingard obrien toffolo Williams MGW nhiakate and awoniyi. We then had 2 of the top 4 from last year and injuries to the two most promising players in Niakhate and Mangala.
What had followed has been a promising but losing performance v spurs. A spanking by Man City and a very poor second 45 against a direct competitor.
He then came out and said he needs to be better- he has a week on the training ground and I’m sure he will see what he has. He needs to be objective and not stick with the back 3 IF we have better. That’s up to him and why he is in the job.

I think most are, but some have picked a bad time to lose a bit of form and start dropping clangers. Cut those out and we will be OK.
