Cooper be given time. He will not be sacked. He is a young talented manager that the fans adore. Talk about scoring an own goal by the owners should they do that. I reckon, regardless of results, he will be in place until the break. If things are going terribly and the side is looking like relegation candidates then, and only then might something happen but even then I am doubtful.
Cooper has earnt the right to deserve time to turn this talented collection of players into a solid team capable of being competitive in this league. He has had a tough start but Realistically most fans would have accepted four points from these first five games.

I'm shocked that there are even discussions about Cooper's job already. I do understand that we have lost three in a row and that the Bournemouth second half has us all puzzled, and that the Big Man can pull the trigger quickly, but surely it is madness to be even discussing his position. We have had really good for pretty much a full year now and it is depressing how quickly some fans fall into that negative mindset (I accept that some could call this the realistic mindset of the Premier League).
We really have got to continue to give the team and Cooper the time and space to work out his best side. Despite the size of the squad, he has been dealt two big injury blows in terms of Mangala and Niakate (both certain starters I think).
I'm sure he will get us in the right direction, given time and I hope he is given it.

I just hope that Steve has the stomach to make some big decisions because that is exactly what he needs to do.

With every loss pressure builds. On top of that the manner of the result is important. This is the same for all clubs and managers.
I don't think anyone is calling for Cooper to go at the moment, however if we play like we did 2nd half and he continues to make strange team selections and substitutions, then the pressure will continue to grow on him.

Would prefer you not to do a poll yet mate.
Its fair to say if things dont improve certainly by the time the world cup comes around EM will be looking for the best way to protect his investment.
But way too soon for my liking to have a stay or not poll yet, it just invites ridicule in my opinion.

Yeah I started writing it but I felt like an idiot so I stopped. (The poll would've been on what happens if we lose the next two games)
Anyway, that is irrelevant as we are going to win the next two games! Leeds are ripe for the taking, hopefully it goes as well as the last time we played them.

I was annoyed Saturday-especially 2nd half but could not believe there were a few boos. That was even more annoying to me. In fact I'd go so far as to say embarrassing.
I am raising my head now and saying in a few months/ seasons end I will be a smug tw@t saying I told you so to those doubting Cooper.
I was same about Worrall and Yates over last few seasons. (But don't mention Carvalho please).

A few questions here:
1. Why do we have to give Cooper the time and space to work out his best side? Its literally his job. If we do, precisely how much time is actually needed?
2. How sure are you that he will get us in the right direction and, what is the right direction? 50%, 75%, 90%, 100%?
3. Does this mean that he should be given time to take us down and attempt to bring us back up again? At what point does the reality of a situation overtake a strong overwhelming belief.
