Nottingham Forest - Bournemouth

This is a huge chance to play our style of football and build confidence after two of the most difficult games we’ll have all season. We need to focus on attacking with purpose and punishing Bournemouth who are bound to have low morale.

I’d start:

      Henderson

Worrall Cook McKenna

Williams Mangala (if fit) O’Brien Lodi

          MGW
Dennis          Awoniyi

Lingard and Johnson off the bench. Maybe play Freuler if Mangala’s not fit yet.

Brennan spent almost an entire game chasing shadows against City, so I’d bring him off the bench for impact. I think we need more physical presence around the opposition box, hence the other two.

Right, but so did MGW? Also, it's not like the other two offered anything when they came on either. I get the idea of starting one of Taiwo or Dennis, (I would choose Taiwo) however I would choose MGW or Lingard to make way in that scenario.

Also: no such thing as a must win game in September in the league. Especially with so many players being bedded in still.

If we are going to survive the Prem then it's at the City Ground where we are going to get the most of our points.
We know that teams in prem are split into 2 or 3 groups, and teams in the 2nd/3rd group is where we must win at home.
Otherwise it adds pressure.

If we as fans stick behind team (as we have been) then I believe we can win this and many other games at home.

I would argue that it’s more important to get points on the board in August and September, especially against teams like Bournemouth. We should really have taken 3 points at Goodison and we’ve beaten West Ham which was a good result. Games against Spurs and City were always going to be free hits, but it’s teams in the bottom half that we need to be beating in order to start getting some momentum.

Yes we can but you have to agree that this is likely to be considered to be the easiest game of the seaon. EM will be expecting a win for sure.

100%. Those are must win games. Add in some away wins/draws against some of them and it would turn out to be a very good season, but like you say. Minimum is trying to get those home wins against the non “top 6” sides.
