To be fair I think all the 5 names mentioned will rotate and if fit be on the pitch at some point over 90 mins
Prob start MGW Johnson Lingard as 532 swap to 433 with Dennis Taiwo Johnson maybe with MGW dropping back. Gives a lot of flexibility.
I will be sad if Brennan gets squeezed out, although I suspect Cooper will be loyal to him at least early on. I guess whatever is best for the team though.

Up to Brennan to perform now to keep his place, must be easy when you look at the bench and all you have is Lyle sat there, not the same now

I would say if we went .4-3-3
Imagine
lingard dennis johson , front 3 tiawo to come on after 60 plus MGW could play higher maybe another or surridge
MGW , Mangala, Frueler mid 3 O’Brien and yates after 60 mins Kouyate to see games out Garner ??
Williams, Wozza , Niakhate/Mckenna , Toff/Richards/New LB
Think we Keep the current formation and just see subs on 60 and 2 CM replaced plus 2 Fwd’s every game.

Whatever Cooper puts out, he can never say he doesn't have options with better or as good on the bench.

Bench has looked week so far.
Also have to be ready for some injuries.
Some of this weeks signings will be ready, others not.

I wonder if we are going to see a formation change to 3-4-2-1 with the arrival of MGW. and two central attacking midfielders?
CF - Johnson
AMC- Lingard
AMC - MGW
This is the only way I see all three getting on the pitch at kick-off.
They will have to play out, there is nobody to win and hold long balls.
As for the midfield two, I can't imagine Frueler was brought in to sit on the bench, he's gotta be better than that with 200 caps for Atlanta.
So I'll plump for a yet to be seen best pairing of...
CM - Frueler
CM - Yates (he looked right at home on Saturday when he came on and Everton had to go over him)
The rest I think we all know...
Henderson
Williams
Worrall
Niakhate
McKenna
Toffolo

Based on the second half vs Everton,if we're sticking with 3 CBs I agree. Cooper is loyal, Yates will come and he's backed MGW too heavily to also not play. I thought it was telling Dennis didn't come on and MGW came on early despite not training much. Brennan is a class finisher, seems like a modern striker. Although obviously, not the greatest in the air so might see Taiwo come in when we need to hold it up more.
CM is up in the air, I kind of agree with you but O'Brien and Mangala have started well so work cut out to fit Freuler and Yates in. Suspect that position will regularly change particularly during games

It's nice just to have so much choice and so many quality options on the bench.

Johnson has also been more effective centrally than out wide over the past couple games. He scored twice, one marginally offside but calm as a cucumber for both.
