Best wishes to Lewis he was a good signing and he will be fondly remembered. His form dipped sometimes but overall he will be fondly remembered.

I always thought his ability to take the ball as the sole striker (sole player often) control it and hold it up was excellent. Its an aspect of his game that often doesn't get mentioned but under Sabri and Hughton his success at doing that was a major element to our game. The contrast with Taylor's ability to do the same was stark.
He would score chances but missed a lot too. He was at his most effective when there was a chance that didn't need thinking about. He natural instinct to score was high but it was the chances where he had time to finish which he was least effective with. That's why I think he missed a lot of penalties for us. I was critical of his tendancy to move out wide to the wings leaving no one in the box (under Sabri and Hughton) but that may have been the instructions he was given. He certainly became more of a box striker under Cooper.
Overall he's been an excellent addition to our club and I've enjoyed watching him. I wish him well wherever he ends up (usual Sheff Utd and Derby caveats apply). I reckon he could do two more years as long as he can keep injury free so I'm no surprised he's decided not to be a bench sitter for us in the prem.

Nottingham Forest Club Captain and striker Lewis Grabban has confirmed his departure from The City Ground following the completion of his contract term.
Grabban (34) joined Forest from Bournemouth ahead of the 2018/19 season and he subsequently scored 17 goals in all competitions in his first term as a Red. In the following season, under Sabri Lamouchi, he became the first Forest striker since David Johnson and Marlon Harewood, in 2002/03, to reach the 20 goals in a season milestone.
Following Michael Dawson’s retirement, Grabban was appointed Club Captain ahead of last year’s promotion-winning campaign and he scored 13 goals in his 34 appearances, with appearances in the second half of the season being impacted by an ankle injury.
In total, over four seasons he scored 55 goals in 147 appearances for Nottingham Forest and everyone at the club would like to thank him for his excellent contribution on and off the pitch.

Helped do what he was brought in to do - fire us back to the Premier League. Great finisher and made a mockery of the reputation he had with some other clubs - always seemed nothing but a positive influence while at Forest.
