Brice Samba

Even for the first goal on Saturday, he tipped a shot wide that was already going miles wide for a corner, and stoke score from the resulting corner when he could of let it trickle wide. Another error in this game.

Their first goal looked suspiciously offside to me.

They had three players inside the six yard box; we had Samba inside it and Colback on the edge of it.

They could not be offside from the corner kick as the ball travelled backwards but the minute the ball was flicked on they surely became offside

To be honest he is very critical of forest most of the time,
can't stand him massive chip on his shoulder.

He does seem to have doesn't he. I don't know is this is because it's just his mo or he really does resent being sacked all those years ago. Or maybe he's just a sadpie deep down in his dna and so it's built into his system to dislike Forest.

I think it's all of what you said.

Samba to sit on the bench from now on in my opinion. Horvath done nothing wrong at all, absolutely nothing and deserves to keep his place for now.

This thread has aged well! Bring back Horvath for the final surely  :fishing: :fishing:

Seriously though he picked a great game to have his best ever match. Thought he should've taken the 4th pen instead of Lolley, he would've definitely been up for it. It's such an advantage in a shootout to have a keeper that is good at penalties (makes it all the more galling that we had that for the Euros final in Pickford, saved two and still lost!) I just fancied him to save every one, was a surprise when they scored 1. Whereas the Utd keeper just dived really early every time and made it easy. Huddersfield will be worried if it goes that far again next week.

The save from Hourihane was so bizarre. Would've been so easy for him to have flung himself out of the way but instead just stuck a strong hand out and palmed it away.

Judging by the pictures of his magic bottle doing the rounds he and the coaching staff had clearly done their homework.

Re this magic bottle, how the hell has the club got information on each of their players' preferred penalty?

Take our players for instance. Has anyone on here ever seen Cafu take a pen? Lolley hasn't taken one for a good few years? What would the blunts have predicted those two do?

Unless we've had a shifty bloke hiding in bushes a la Bielsa.

Let’s just say he was awesome in the shoot out.
When they had two red dots on the scoreboard there was only going to be one outcome.
Samba. Samba. Samba.

I don't think he had that, I think a fan made it and he is playing along saying - give it back.
