Is Davis definitely out?

I don’t know if Davis would be able to start even if he has recovered from his injury. He might not have the minutes in his legs at the moment. I’m expecting Surridge to start, but Davis on the bench would be a nice surprise

Davis on the bench would be a huge boost for everyone.

Would prefer that he is fully fit for the second leg.
If experience from the Semis against Yeovil, Sheffield United and Blackpool have taught us anything it’s that nothing is decided in the first leg

Have we had reliable reports that Keinan is training or was that just twitter rumours? He did his injury on 15th April so exactly 4 weeks which is about right for recovery of most hamstring tears (the old grade 2 class), depending on the site, extent of damage to tendons etc it could be considerably longer.
On the flip side Billy Sharp has a calf injury which he did a couple of weeks ago and suspect the game will come too soon for him.

Sharp is much like Grabban in that he recovered from one injury only to get another straight away.
Both have a similar record this year. You have to be realistic with players that age -20-25 games per season is all you will realistically get. I wouldn't risk Davis on Saturday.

I cant see that approach changing. He be better getting 20 or 30 minutes under his belt on Saturday to get him some game time before Tuesday. And if (big if) we win the tie, he's then got the best part of 2 more weeks before the final.
