Injuries And Suspensions
I'm hoping that it was simply fatigue caused by the gruelling high temporary we saw last night. Coops said that they were all exhausted after the game so hopefully they just need a bit of a rest rather than anything more sinister.

One benefit about playing Swansea is they also had a gruelling game yesterday while Blackburn have only played once over last 5 days (and got a big win)

Grabbs out for the season. Surridge, Colback and Zings doubt for Sat. Far from ideal at this stage. Hope we can wing it till Bournmouth and still pick up 3 points and hope the extra days rest have helped.

A bit of clarity on injuries from Tails:

Grabban, hamstring 6-7 weeks, over and out.
Davies, hamstring, slim chance back for play offs
Surridge, ongoing groin problem that needs to be managed carefully
Colback, glute muscle injury
Zinc, ankle knock

No mention of Lowe?

If colback needs a rest then it would be a good time to get him back. I thought he was expected to be back around same time as cook.

It would be one factor that would put me off signing him as he does seem a bit injury prone.

Without meaning to sound gloomy there was no sign of either Colback or Yates on the first team training video, not clever editing they clearly werent with the group. Could of course be training elsewhere or have another reason not to be there.
Before you ask, no Keinan wasn't on view either.

Yates on his interview clearly not using his left arm shoulder… oh dear!

Pre-game injection and power through it?

Yep, both obvs have knocks and treatment.

I would only be concerned if they weren’t in training from today.

That media was done on Monday, and TBF players having treatment at this stage of the season just need to be ready to train when doing shape etc.

I would be very surprised if either of them weren’t starting.

Sam Surridge had his operation earlier today & all’s good
He was gutted to miss the reception yesterday but the new EPL season starts earlier this year, so every day counts
He’s played with a hernia since the Peterborough game & has suspected fracture of his ribs from Sundays game

Bloody hell, what's he going to be capable of when he plays fit?
