Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane have been sacked by Ireland today.
Would you swap AK for the pair?
Me, no, but who knows, 4 or 5 bad results before now and Christmas for us and we might eventually get our man!
It means there's some good managerial candidates around at the moment with Jokanovic and Bruce both out of work too.

Remember who our owner is who makes this type of decision. He isnt the sort of bloke who appoints on sentiment.
I sincerely hope AK is still here at the end of the season, but were there to be a vacancy then Jokanovic is the one who fits the bill.

seems Karanka stands for non sentimental, brutal, cheque book, success however tedious, spend £30m and sign 20 plus players to get 5 players worth £12m
I think the this is the peak right now, I don't see momentum and entertainment and consistent promotion form seem a long way off
i'd prefer NFFC to draw on its rich heritage which does include Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane who have achieved far more success than AK
I think if it is about getting it all now Jokanovic is far superior if it is a season long gamble, we all acutally know this for a fact, but also looking at the form guide we sort of know even if we did spend £50m this season and got promoted it looks like we would probably be propping up the PL table
If Martin O'Neil and Roy Keane have a hunger and ambition to make us successful in the long term it really appeals to me.
Either way Jokanovic or MON RK make far more appeal to me, ultimately I want to enjoy games and feel proud to be NFFC, this isn't really happening for me, we have a cold, dull, 1 trick pony who can only spend lots of money on relatively over priced, and non cohesive players
If we have peaked for the season, which I think is probably the case, and there is £20m to spend in Jan which is probably the case, the above names are too good to turn down.
Honestly any of you guys reading this could of assembled a better team with half of what AK has had at his disposal

10 years ago perhaps, but O'Neill seems past his best and Keane's never been a great club manager. Very happy with the manager we have now thanks.

Ireland's style of play was shocking.
All the players hated Keane. He really is hated nobody likes him. I couldnt see it working now.

The time has passed, I like to keep ex-players exactly that, ex-players. Was so upset with the Pearce saga, let them stay legends. We have a good manager already.

I agree with most other posters but I wonder if there is room for MoN in a director type role.

What I will say is that sadly it is now inevitable that everytime we lose a match there will be people clamouring for MON and RK to take over.
COYR!
