Should we make a cheeky bid to bring Burke back?

If we could sign the 2016 Burke back for say 4-5m that would be, on paper, the missing piece for a push for the top 2. But also on paper, due to his now big wages and questionable motivation, a gamble on paper. Plus WBA wont be in a hurry to strengthen a side that can potentially deny them top 2 (unless OB has indeed lost it) so if they are willing to sell or loan then i'd say steer clear

burke on his day is a much better player than cash. he has electric pace. cant see it being financially viable though.

I keep reading your negativity about Cash but the lad has scored four goals this season and has at least one vital assist, that’s a decent return for someone with only 52 league games under their belt (12 of which were for Dagenham).

Burke, who I do rate, has scored two goals in all competitions since he left us in August 2016.

This isn’t a knock at Burke, just noticed that Cash seems to be one of your latest players to regularly knock.

How did I knock cash there. I said Burke is better which is surely correct considering the transfer fees he has accumulated.

Cash has been poor in many matches now. It's been 10 matches since he got a goal or an assist. He started well but his form has taken a dip. Am I wrong in this? Who else have I regularly knocked where I was wrong?

He did start the season well when he was selected or when he came on as a sub.

But it's true that his form has dipped of late.

As for Burke, I would have him back if the price was right.

I think that I would agree with all that, sounds about right to me.

All about opinions - but I’ll take Cash over Burke.

Without sounding greedy, I wouldn't mind having both.

We need better than Burke if we want promotion imo, need someone who is better than what we have. If he can't make the wba team surely that tells it's own story.

That Matt Phillips is just a bit better perhaps ?
Burke would be a very good addition i reckon.

I`d like to see him back at Forest - think Cash has done OK though. Assume we are assuming Dias not long term by this thread ?
