I will tell you, Vrentzos recommended him (yes that is true) and EM appointed him following Vrentzos recommendation.

I think what has to be acknowledged is that he got it wrong... but was big enough to show enough humility to change his tack.  That must be a big pull on the ego of someone so successful.

I love being a Forest fan at the moment- even my son, who isn't interested in football, when he sees me watching football asks, 'Watching Forest Dad?  YOU REDS!'

Absolutely spot on. Completely agree. 

He got it wrong initially. Looked at it and adjusted to a new approach. He should be applauded for this. We are lucky to have an owner who is prepared to try new things if plan a doesn't work. The whole club is buzzing at the moment and the owner is at the heart of this. This is the most proud I think I have ever been about Forest as the whole structure/system is in sync and working towards common goals. Brilliant stuff.

I think what I've learnt is that you've got to get the recruitment right. Players and staff. If you do then the rest follows. If you fail then there's a struggle.

Ha ha we have to move on now because he's been tripped up and we are doing brilliantly. Well I won't move on and if you remember I even took it to him on twitter not long ago but after a couple of exchanges he bottled it.

I will move on when he puts his hand up and he starts giving some credit to EM, Milto and Dourekas, even Vretzos for sorting out the absolute dog S**t pile of finances that he inherited from the previous owners.

The period pre-DM under Marinakis only exacerbated the "absolute dog s**t pile of finances" that were inherited, there's no denying that or getting away from that.

We may be doing brilliantly in the here and now but its too soon to be saying that everything is now remedied and on the right track.

No it didn't because if it did then there would be no Nottingham Forest now and that is the absolute blunt truth.

It’s not the truth mate because you are speculating about something that didn’t happen. 

If you want to ignore the mismanagement of the club under Vrentos and other then fair play but people aren’t just going to forget because we’ve had a decent run.

Think you have got the wrong bloke mate.

The mismanagement was all made by Fawaz, he and only he took the club to being one breath from death.

The others that followed did some great work to get the club where it is today. Yes it was not perfect in all departments, it was very good in some and not very good in others.

Hey Sniffer your lucky to of had a twitter discussion with Mardy Taylor he blocked me when I questioned him only once !
But big well done to Mr Marinakas and son they have turned things around great in the last 6 months ?
