I’m sure if he could he would invest more to get us up.
I’ve heard on the grapevine that the parachute payments issue is going to be looked at to make a more level playing field in the Championship. No coincidence that our chairman is now on EFL board.
FFP is hamstringing ambitious clubs like ours in favour of yo-yo small clubs. The EPL is also said to be worried that the same clubs keep swapping year on year without bringing anything new to the league.

It's FPL rules though so it would be up to them to change it. EFL has been against it for a long time. It would be great if they did change them, would be beneficial for everyone IMO. There's no reason at all why salary decreases based on relegation aren't automatically written into contracts. In fact I think most yo yo teams already have this so they can just use the excess funds on new signings etc.

Ive been saying that for a long time Wassy.

I find it incredulous that the very same players that werent good enough to stay in the PL are still entitled to the pay of a PL player

Whilst I agree its a ridiculous unfair system that entitlement can work in our favour. Look at West Brom this year, a squad stuffed full of expensive under achievers. Stoke before them the same, Bournemouth too should probably be running away with it with what they have but seem to be coming unstuck against teams that want it more than them.

I think thats why we are enjoying the season so much, young team playing for each other and enjoying their football, I honestly cant remmebr enjoying watching the team this much since the mid 90s. Its also why I am so despaerate for it to succeed this season so we have a chance of keeping it together, if not we just have to trust Cooper will work his undoubted magic next season too.

Dourekas is a man who EM trusts 100%. He's also very well liked by all the staff and player's.

Any chance he’ll be making an appearance either Tuesday or Saturday sniff?

I think so although I haven't had that confirmed yet.

The big man called Colin Fray of BBC Radio Nottingham after his match tonight. This tweet doesn't contain the actual call, but Fray says that EM wanted to 'express his frustration at the decisions of the referee and the federation (the EFL for not supporting Forest over the original postponement of the match).'

I hope Stuart Attwell doesn't own a bakery.
