Whether it happens or not I'm going to be really sorry to see this season end. It's been utterly enjoyable watching the team transform itself, be reinforced with quality in January and then push on. The only regret is that we haven't had the excitement of challenging the top two due to our poor start.

Even the FA cup games have been great, despite my cynicism and dislike of the lack of respect the prem clubs give the tournament.

That's the same for me, particularly with the knowledge that barring promotion, this team will be dismantled next season when we lose Spence, Garner and realistically one of Johnson or Worrall minimum.

Even if we go up there's no guarantee of keeping the above (minus Worrall).

Just got to try and enjoy the next few months before the potential suffering that would be a playoff campaign (or missing out!)

Ive seen this said a few times last night but its worth repeating.

After yesterday there is no one in this league we need to fear, absolutely no one.

I agree SM and why just be content with a play off position?

With our games in hand, should we win them, we will be 5 behind Bournemouth. We have to play them. Beat them, its down to two points behind. They could slip up, we could go second.

If the lads can play with no fear of the opposition, be courageous on the ball, show their passion and dedication to this wonderful club and have the hearts of lions, then there is no reason why we cant be promoted automatically.

I wish it was as simple as that and there will no doubt be a few hiccups along the way, but after yesterdays display, it has proven to me that we ARE a PL class side and will hold our own well when we do go up!

We don't actually have any games in hand over Bournemouth so we need them to lose some games to have a chance at 2nd.

Otherwise yeah I agree with everything.

Forest need to gain 9 points on Bournemouth before they play them.
Then they need to win!

Yes I watched that game. The game was pretty level with both sides looking at best average until the idiot Eaves got himself sent off just before half time. You won't see a better example of a moronic p!ayer than him. Having been already booked he chased an Udders player for about 30 yards before hacking him down from behind. Ref had no choice.

Mixed results today. Bournemouth, Blackburn and Boro won but Luton, QPR and Sheffield United lost.

Ah Luton drew, but against Millwall so they both drop points.
