I often think that. He must feel a bit sore about it.

It was basically the same team to begin with too. Although he only had two games with Spence and Lowe available (lost both)

The best comment i saw was CH being sacked was racial related. What a fool that person looks now

Writing did seem on the the wall at that point. Although tbf we didn't have any fullbacks full stop at that point

Got to say I was dead against CH getting sacked at the time. It felt just like we were going around the roundabout again. Maybe we were, I dont know, but if it was pure luck that Cooper has worked out, then my god after 20 odd years of mediocrity, we've deserved a bit of luck.

I was in a very similar boat. Possibly a more depressing one though as I thought if a safe pair of hands with a really good track record like Hughton couldn't turn us around, then we were truly f@(ked. I knew he had to go, the toxic atmosphere meant his position was untenable...but I just thought  how will it ever improve?

Fast forward 6 months and I just can't seem to get enough of Stevie Cooper...

Managers like Hughton want to manage, without the passion, and it shows.

Hungry players need a manager with passion to get the best out of them. Hughton was completely the wrong choice.

Steve Cooper has unified ALL of the fanbase. When was the last time any manager has had the total support of all Forest supporters? The likes of O'Neill, Pearce, Karanka, all had knockers and critics. I would have to guess at maybe Billy Davies mk1?

That's a reslly good point. But without the fantastic results he has achieved, that would have been tougher. He said all the right things early on and then backed them up ' and some ' with actions.  

His first interview I remember him talking about being flexible   playing with attacking intent, to win, to improve players and to give something to the fans to be proud of.

Boy has he delivered so far....now if he could just top it off with a win today....
