So I suppose if his level is a mid table national league club that kind of blows apart the notion that he was signed as a quality player capable of leading Forest to promotion.

I assume we will continue to pay all but a tiny fraction of his significant wages too.

He’s gone from being called up for the Ireland squad to being loaned to Notts - all in the same season, that’s a serious fall from grace. Also sounds like he’s sitting out the rest of his contract, so the bomb squad will live on for one last season!

I havent listened to his entire interview yesterday but the bits I did it sounds to me like he can't understand his fall from grace. I suspect he needs to reflect on where he is. If coaches like Hughton and Cooper have rejected him, and league 2 Charlton too, then he's clearly not the player he seems to think he is.

Hopefully Spence won't play as he'll be below Ben Johnson of West Ham - who's an excellent right-back - in the pecking order.
