Blackburn Rovers - Nottingham Forest
I thought Brererton was crap last night. No way that someone is going to fork out 25M for him based on that performance.

Wozza probably had a quiet word in his ear  :giggle:

He didnt do a lot did he and love the way he hasnt lost the ability to throw himself to the floor, its so bad even his teammates dont appeal.
Thought his positional play has come on in a big way though, gets in front of defenders he did it on a few occasions got in a flicked header on goal, there were glimpses of why he has come good.

He had a quieter game but that was VITAL.

At 0-0, and surprisingly overlooked.

If you watch it back it was superb. He never gave up.

Pivotal moment.

That ^^

and Sambas save with his left leg cannot be overlooked.

Sambas kicking though? Is it only me who kaks themself when he has the ball at his feet on the edge of our box and he is looking to play it short.

:giggle: I did not realise that 'kak' had become vernacular in the UK! Kak jou broek.  :giggle:
Ja, ek ook kak waneer Samba het die bal en hy speel kort.

The only criticism I would have based on a great away win last night was the possible winning margin, however an away win is always a good result. If we can improve on the final pass to team mates in a better scoring position along with a higher successful pass rate in and around the box along with shots on the actual target, just think how good we could be. I think SC is fully aware of these frailties and will be working on this over the coming weeks as he well knows that scoring goals wins matches in most cases and normally a high scoring team gets promoted!

We deliberately flash the ball across the six yard box - seen us score and miss so many chances like this- not dis-similar to Man City

Great saves and positioning making other attempts on goal look easy saves… Stilton used to do that too- make decent efforts look easy saves through spotless positioning…

A lot of big club opposition on their doorstep is the only thing I can think of.

It didn't seem alot for a team sitting 2nd.  If Forest were sitting 2nd the Ground would be packed for a game like this.

I wonder what the attendances were when Kenny Dalglish won the 1st Division title.

They're not the only team with poxy attendances. Forest should be well in advance of these 'so-so' clubs. Bournemouth? What's their numbers? Fulham? Burnley? Brentford?

If the Taylor Stand gets built, we could just about triple Blackburn's Wednesday attendance.

Yeah.  We still need to score more goals.

I think Surridge has a pass on for Brennan who was better placed for a goal and he tried to take it himself and fluffed it.  And missed a sitter too?  Redeemed himself for the penalty win, though.  He's going to be tough customer for back lines to deal with.  He'll be a good twin peak for Davis.

We can't overlook that Forest had another slow-ish start.  And that's when you have to concentrate and stay in the game and exert your influence over the side.

Had we done so and not conceded that early goal vs Cardiff I think we'd have won that game too.

All Im thinking is who is mad enough to take £500 of Bose speaker into a footy match and how on earth did he get it past security.

Absolute genius though.

That is class. Love the belief

Cooper's distillation of belief and confidence has become infectious from players to fans.

Bose.  Class set of speakers.  Great sound from them.  Well 'ard.
