#nffc Head Coach Steve Cooper says full-back Max Lowe could be back in training with the first team next week. He’s been out since late November with a groin strain.

I remember early doors it was Lowe shining out the two fullbacks. And was going great guns until the groin injury. Gave alot of balance to a Cooper side that was flying.
He'll be back relatively soon, I should imagine. He's been very much missed.

Forest fans travelling to Millwall tomorrow from St Pancras or King's Cross should be aware the Northern Line is closed to London Bridge for engineering works.
Best alternatives are Thameslink overland trains or the Victoria & Jubilee Lines via Green Park to London Bridge.

I agree SA, he has been very much missed. I know we have all fallen in love with Spence and for good reasons. He is a very existing player but he has to improve in one area of his game and that is goals and assists. Currently he only has 1 goal from 19 games and NO assists. In comparison Lowe has 1 goal and 2 assists from 12 games.

Ha his goal was a massive fluke though, was just a massively overhit cross I seem to remember.

You are right wassy. It was a fluke but independently of that Spence needs to contribute with more goals/assists.

I remember thinking Lowe was the more complete fullback of the two to begin with and seemed to settle quicker. His only real 'off game' came in the very same game he got his groin injury. He didn't seem right from the off and their attackers really got at him for what seemed like the 1st time for me in a Forest shirt. Maybe he didn't warm up correctly. Lowe will be welcome back with open arms and Colback's Midfield Authority will be rightly restored. I bet Colback can't wait to get back in there.
But, obviously, there's no denying Spence has grown in stature with the formation that favours him and a run of games has seen his confidence blossom. Some of his step over work to 'show boat' vs the Arsenal 'tens of millions' was mercurial at times. 'Combative, Technical and Swashbuckling.' Ian Wright. And he was. About that.
