#nffc v Arsenal in the #FACup chosen for TV coverage.
Kick-off 5.15pm on Sunday January 9th.
Bugger!!! That's the Wifes Birthday.
It looks like she will be getting the Pandora Bracelet she has been carping on about after all and Ill cook her a slow roast beef in red wine gravy, that should make up for it.
Just buy her a ticket Tricky and take her to the match, job done.
And if you're not planning on going to the game, just make sure she's pissed up and out of it by 5.15pm.

Does anyone know if the date of the match has been confirmed yet? Or if not when will we likely know?

Its 4-6th Feb the games, so it'll be a TV game so shouldn't be long until day and time are confirmed.

I think The SadPies are at home on the Saturday so Forest - Leicester is looking like Friday night or Sunday.
Panic on the streets of Croydon, Derby, Sheffield, Leicestershire.

Amazing how a major event like a Forest Leicester cup tie can be influenced by a non league game. I bet there's car boot sales that would draw more traffic & people than the sadpies game on too and you dont see forest games rescheduled for them do you.

I hope its not a lunchtime kick off but think it will be, always puts a damper on the atmosphere, same with the upcoming sheep game. You cant beat an evening match, even the 5pm kick off which was a bit unusual really seemed to add to the occasion.

I watched the entire Arsenal game back on tv afterwards. The itv coverage was excellent, so refreshing. There was a little faunicatuon over Arsenal but not as much as you'd see on Sky or the BBC. Keane and Wright were excellent and Materface is a skilled and experienced operator. And the in game commentating was good too. I absolutely love Keane as a pundit. He proper tells it as it is. Calls a spade a spade.

Yep, he's a breath of fresh air to broadcasting. More McCoist please.
Compare itvs coverage to the bbc last night. Lineker's lot couldn't help themselves, they had to choose an all prem game with no '3rd round majic' about it at all. I watched about 10 minutes and turned it off. It was sterile rubbish.
