Honestly Snif, Psycho is not that far off from the truth :D ... lets hope that the Sheff Utd didnt watch the game last night, as they will know how to shred us to pieces...apart from a totally different mentality and approach, I dont see massive changes for Saturday (especially in crucial positions).
In goal, between Panti and Steele there isnt much of a difference (tend to say that Steele is even better then Panti). The defence; one of Dawson and Hefele (probably the former) will be starting with Figi (not much choice here). Dariwka will be replacing Janko (so its not as if we are going to have Cabrini playing), Robertson will replace Ozzy (a slight improvement there, especially after on the form Ozzy is at the moment).
In the middle, with Gueddy probably we will see the crab Watson (cannot see otherwise), on the flanks, Lolley will start (should be an upgrade on Diaz or Cash, but Lolley was on the field yesterday, for the last 20 minutes or so, and he barely touched the ball). On the other side it is Diaz or Cash, so we remain were we are.
Upfront Carvaglio will replace Gonclavez, should be an upgrade but again, depends what game Sheff Utd will be playing . If they press him close, we might as well keep him on the bench as he will be `a ghost` again. Grabban upfront should be an upgrade on Soudani as he is a natural, he is also on good form, but if we dont give him service, he will spend the whole game getting to the half way line to get the ball.
So, if AK (and Marinakis on Skype), dont do some sort of miracle and transform the sheep into lions ... I dont have much hope for Saturday...

If we beat Sheffield United we will be in the play off places and everything will be forgotten, at least until the next game. Football fans eh!

Woahh hold on people. We put in a bad performance last night but these comments are becoming ridiculous.
If we go down the glass half empty route then AK will be gone, we'll get a new foreign manager and we'll be starting at square 1, yet again.

A lot of people have already forgotten where this club was and where it was heading to just 18 months ago.

We win & we are world beaters.
We lose & folks are slitting their throats.
All a bit predictable I’m afraid - let’s just have a bit of balance.

Let's concentrate on what is more important........
3 points on Saturday & another 3 against Stoke 7 days later.
Yes we have just been knocked out of a Cup that we have no
chance of winning so let's get down to the 'Bread & Butter"
games that are so much important - Please!!!

Karanka is an unmitigated disaster, ok 7th but in reality we are 1 point off mid table, in effect we are vying with 9 other teams pretty much equalish for a play off spot, even then only 1 gets to the promised
when we are all drooling over just missing out on 3 points after having 1 attempt on goal v leeds, the Forest fans are clutching at straws
there is no progress, a good manager gets 5 quality players in and turns things around
a good manager grafts players in at the right time
the set up for every game is Neanderthal and predictable and tedious
Karanka does not talk to most of the players, he doesn't do the arm round the shoulder, you upset Karanka and that is it. It isn't just that he is rolling out slow oldies onto the pitch, many players are already alienated from him
Karanka has no personality except a dour, depressing demeanor, he cannot give a good interview, at least Warnock gives a good interview and you feel he can get a message or idea or tactics over to players
I hate warnocks, pulis's, karankas, this is my problem, it is my choice, a manager like Slaviša Jokanović is expansive, positive, though still in a job, but this guy is head and shoulders above Karanka, 2nd most goals scored and best gd last season, but I know Jan is foul time to takeover a club
warburtons last game, £30m and 20 plus 'better' players than now, 68% ish possession, 20 chances, 1 chance by sunderland ... sacked, fair enough, blinkered
I sort of think managers need to be blinkered and ultimately if they are good and get the better players and improve what they have they will perfect their plan A particularly if the focus is on creating lots of chances and being offensive and sending a team out believing they are better or have an edge over the opposition. We are nowhere near this.
I look at Forest and see a shipwreck, it's confusing. I thought the late 'signings' Karim, Tachi and Yacob resulted collectively in a good transfer window even though a ridiculous number of players really, but these 3 haven't happened and the core Portugese could be lurching towards failure, the 14 comprise of a few good 5 years ago and loans who we won't see the long term benefits.
Nigel Clough set his team up to play football and score.
We set up the same every game virtually, too slow, rigid, negative, I don't know, I watch most of the games on poor watery, buffering streams I don't know exactly where it is going wrong
I know who is to blame and this guy Karanka is destroying the club and already pretty much destroyed the ethos and virtually all entertainment, leeds was diabolical, a point yes, 1 shot on target, 30% possession, leeds may well end up mid table
November and December have been horrific months for Forest in recent seasons, I predict nearer 17th than 7th come Jan 1st
To be honest I just want Forest fans to be rewarded for turning up and not insulted
Draws are good if you are winning 6 and drawing 4, they are no good if you are winning 1 and drawing 3, draw all season and you get relegated
My problem is I hate Karanka, I do try to get behind him on match days especially if I can see the game somehow. I don't mind even if it is a smash and grab or occasional diabolical performance and we get something, I didn't feel anything after the leeds game, except the leeds players conspiring to give the corner that led to a good header goal
I love NFFC, I hate Karankerism though I think now the damage is done because this guy will still be in the job boring us all shitless for eternity
I will long for the day and will leap for joy when Karanka is sacked
That is absolutely mental. How on earth is it possible to arrive at that conclusion?

There was one or two daft things being said in the aftermath of last nights defeat/performance. Glad to see that some have calmed down a bit.
We shouldn't get carried away with a good win/performance and we shouldn't get carried away with a bad/defeat performance either.

I'm not getting carried away but I am getting concerned. Performances have been on the whole poor since Karanka took charge. I appreciate the fact that it is a relatively new team however the amount of space and possession we seem to be giving away is worrying.
Surely given we have quite an experienced squad we should not be allowing the opposition to attack us quite so freely?
I would guess that if we lose on Saturday AK will be skating on very thin ice.
I hope he kicks us in to gear and is not yet another victim of the manager merry go round. I'm beginning to feel as though he may be. He really needs to start getting the team firing on all cylinders in EVERY game.

Unfortunately inconsistency is going to be the natural side effect of a team that’s played so little together.
Look around the division and pretty much every team is experiencing the same...at best.
