Surely he needs a couple of under 23 games under his belt first.
He has been training with the Arsenal first team so he should be well on the way to full fitness.
You would have thought that an U23 appearance would help but unfortunately there is no game now until 6th December after yesterdays cancellation.
I know it’s not the same, but 60 mins of Reidy’s murderball will establish whether he is ready.
They have the GPS stats which will show if he can play at the required intensity.

I personally don't see the need to rush him back. Colback or Bong can do a job for 2 or 3 weeks in my opinion.

Exactly! It's not like we are coming up against Bournemouth and Fulham in the next couple of games. It's Peterborough, Swansea and Hull and apart from SC wanting to get the better of his former employers, there wont be the pressure on him to field his strongest possible side that could potentially cause further problems down the line. These are the types of games he could benefit resting the odd player, just not like Sabri did and changed half the bloody team though!!

Plus 1. Rushing him back could set him back again I remember Cardiff made that mistake with him last season and then Tutu's season was over. It's not as if we don't have any cover.

I'd have thought Arsenal sending him back means he is fit to play, just needs match sharpness for 1st team duty.

Arsenal wont be allowing him to be rushed back. Im sure the two medical teams are working hand in glove to ensure he gets dealt with properly.

I would imagine they sent him back so he can start training with us again for the time being. No way he will play on Saturday.

Yeah. There's no rushing back after those kind of injuries.
We've seen what the major injury did to Colback. He's had a long way back to being the player who 1st came on loan with us.
Similar to Grabban last season. A hip injury.
Likewise, Arsenal and Tutu will be mindful of not setting him back further. He's their prospect. And the Championship is high octane. Not the kind of league you can turn up in with a dodgy hamstring.
I hope he get past this and we can see the promising player 'we' signed.

I'm sure this isn't meant to and I get the point about Bournemouth and Fulham being a class above the rest of us, but this comes across a bit arrogant. 7 points from those games would represent a very good haul indeed.
Also, as a paying customer I expect the manager to pick the strongest available side for every league match. I get that with 3 games in 7 days a bit of player management was required last week but after 8 days without a game...best XI please.
Have we not tripped up enough over these ,"types of games" to know how dangerous any team can be? Even the Sheep took 4 points from Bournemouth and Fulham last week.
Any "opposition fans comments" researching this site would look at that post and think who the f@(k do they think they are?
Maybe I am misreading it a touch as the point about being sure Tutu is fit and ready is completely valid (though I have little faith in him staying fit for long) but that is irrelevant of the opposition in this league.

We're an average/below average team in the Championship in the current league position. (Current form may suggest above average.)
Forest have 'history' of 'not turning up' for these games. Under Cooper, largely performed better in them. However, we didn't play Grabban vs Luton and we didn't get the win. And had he played for that game we may have got 3 points. But at some point he was going to be rested. Taylor couldn't 'do it' vs Luton. We've not seemed that great in the last two games, balance wise due to the LB situation which is a running sore.
No team in this division should be under estimated.
Fielding your best CM at LB isn't ideal. It causes two problems to solve one situation in a less than ideal fashion. Luckily, we've only got December to get through and I hope Phase II of the transfer policy can out perform the Summer one in terms of incisive recruitment. It's pretty obvious we have no depth in 3 key positions.

Have a feeling Sheffield United are prepared to sell Lowe, they are in a bit of a mess and it's not as if they don't have any other left backs. Buy Lowe and recall Ioannou, job done. If we can't agree a fee for Lowe then there is always Buchanan. I am not concerned about left back in the long term, it will be sorted in January.
