Drager is playing in a international tournament starting from 30 Nov to 18th December, then he's at afcon..

What international tournament?!

Fifa Arab Cup mate..

Recruitment still finding there feet.. for every ojeda there's a drager ha.. wonder if this lad is just another Karim, signed on a free, then hope he will have a good performance in the 2 tournaments and sold on for a profit?,

We knew what we were getting with Drager as he was at Oly. We knew the international tournaments were coming.

Probably why Spence was signed alongside him.

And with this new South African Covid variant worrying the scientists today, don't expect Drager to come back from the ACN and just slot back in, he'll probably end up isolating for 2 weeks.

'Nottingham Forest. It's a Global Club.' Steve Cooper. Pre-WBA.

'It just reminds me of how hard we have to work.'

*6-7 weeks on Lowe.

Stick Lolley at LWB. Yates and Ojeda in the middle of the park. BJ, Zink and Lewis up top - let’s have a real dig at them!

My thoughts entirely.

Just because we managed to convert 1 winger to a right back successfully doesn't mean that we can do the same for every other player in the squad. A modern day wing back is probably the most difficult role to master in a team and not a role that you should expect that anybody can do.

I'm not aware that Bong has played this position much in his career either though? Or are you suggesting unless we move Spence across and play Drager we should just switch to a back 4.

We have no fit LWBs so whoever plays there is going to be uncomfortable.

I like the Lolley or Mighten options as it allows us another attacking option on the pitch. It could be something we do in other games when Lowe is fit to go more attacking in the future too. Plus what we'll lose in defensive ability we will gain in attack at least. Possibly a bit gung ho for WBA though I get that.

I cant see us rampaging forward tonight and going for it. I reckon he'll set us up as a back 4 which is nice and compact. When West Brom lose possession they try really hard to get it back again immediately, similar to what I noticed Colback and Yates were doing for us v Reading in the first half. I reckon we'll stay tight at the back and try to use Brennan's pace on the counter to beat their press. Bong can play as an out and out defender in that system. If we're set deep, Grabban's ability to hold the ball up will be a key requirement, similar to they way Sabri had him playing.

I agree that Lolley and Mighten would give you another attacking option but unfortunately limited defensive ability.

Bong it is then, Drager on the bench too is interesting. I wonder whether he'll test that option out at some point.

Maybe Bong will excel at LWB...
