With Lowe out injured does Bong keep his place in the side who does Jack Colback move to left back and either James Garner or Ojeda come into the side.

Also I am sure that Chris Cohen will get a great reception from the home crowd.

Id be tempted to play Spence out of position on the left and bring in Full/Drager in at right back.

Colback + Garner in the middle - Cafu/Ojeda/ on the bench.

Maybe some other fresh legs also in Silva/Mighten given we go again Friday.

In an ideal world you would swap Spence over and bring in Drager at LB but seeing as he has yet to even make a squad I would say it’s unlikely. He played and scored for Tunisia last week so he is definitely fit. If he can’t get in ahead of Bong I seriously question why he is here.

Colback to LB is the other option but would mean a brand new pairing in CM of Garner and AN Other which again i cant see Cooper doing. In theory it could be another opportunity for Carvalho though. Rest of team unchanged, would prefer us to Keep 352 we look so much more fluid.

Serious question - if Drager (who has played on the left) doesn’t get the nod here, in reality when will he ever.

Bong is so so poor, that if your not getting picked over him then you really don’t have a future.

Bong is poor defensively and provides zero attacking threat.

We know Cooper likes attacking full backs, and in the last home games played Colback out of position.

With Yates suspended, we can’t really move Jack out of there seeing as he is dominating games.

3 Centre backs definitely at least protects Bong better than 4 at the back. Tutu anywhere near yet? 

Could also consider Mighten or Lolley as LWBs. Lolley always been decent defensively and Mighten has the attacking attributes to play LWB.

First real injury test for Cooper. I suspect despite yesterday, Bong will play but in a back 5. The least disruption to the team overall. Colback and Gardner in middle (assuming Yates suspended).

Having Bong and Figs on pitch guarantees at least one gift to Luton so important we are a bit more clinical at the other end.

More worried about Friday though assume Yates will return opening up Colback LB option. Chance got Gardner to step back up too hopefully.
