Yes Colback to LWB, Yates and Garner (who was very good when he came on) in the middle

Agree Bong made a couple of decent clearances but he scares the bejesus out of me.

Yates now suspended for Luton game. Would love to see us playing an academy player at LB.

Probably my biggest criticism of Grabban is his lack of team spirit. He is so greedy and wants to take all of the glory for himself. Instead of playing it across to a team mate, he has to try and go it alone all the time. We see it so many times in a match and it frustrates the shit out of me

Yates is suspended, I am thinking this could be the game to introduce Ojeda, Luton have legs in midfield, all 3 of them play with high energy so think we will go with a 433, with Colback, Garner and Ojeda.

To be fair to grabban he created this chance out of nothing all by himself so cannot have too much of a go for shooting, he beat the keeper only for it to be cleared off the line by some good defending.

-cracking day out prematch in Reading.
-Cracking goal from Zinc.
-Colback on another level now. Looks like a guy who has played plenty in prem.
-Created really good chances, without actually playing well.
-Centre backs defended well-except at that corner.
-Standard now  but another great away following.
-Grabban looking very dangerous again.
-It is clear that Andy Carroll has a long way to go to be match fit as he was a plank. Aside from one header he didn't do anything on the pitch. He did however lift their crowd (and drummer boy)

Negatives
-We didn't convert any of our golden opportunities after 4th minute.
-Got undone by a completely mishit corner kick.
-Lowe injury massively changed us.
-We caused our own problems at times. Under pressure,  giving the ball away will happen, but to put a simple 30 yard pass straight out of play for a throw under no pressure is really frustrating.
-When throw-in leads to a corner (and equaliser,) it becomes critical. This is not about a player being 'past it' or 'crap' it is about attention to detail and concentration  making sure you do all the basics well. Bong didn't and whilst we could still have stopped the goal, we shouldn't have been in our own half by then.

Overall a decent point, but should have been 3.

Mention of Grabban, yes he should possibly have squared that ball and he had another good chance when he rounded the keeper later. However overall I thought he had an excellent game, great workrate, pulled their defence all over the place. Had he taken one of those chances a MOM performance.

I think that sums things up nicely, Zico'. Lowe going off seemed to unbalance the team (though he didn't seem to be having his best game.)

The amount of mistakes, pre-Cooper and Cooper has cost points.

Silver lining. 6 points off play offs. But it looks like when we come up against a team with that bit of quality we're just short of a 2-3 quality players.

And the squad depth in areas is paper thin. Eg. LB. lb. Lb. lB. LEFT BACK!
