It is rather interesting that Reid has been given the opportunity on Saturday.
He recently resigned as part time coach with the Scottish National side, which appeared odd to me at the time given the precarious nature of how things were at the time at Forest.
Could it be that he has been promised a role with the new manager.
I know that he is very highly thought of in the game from a coaching perspective.

I agree I thought that was odd at the time given the predicament we found ourselves in. He is highly rated so will be interesting if he is kept on landing what capacity.

Getting very ahead of myself here but this is the backroom team Cooper had at Swansea and who subsequently left when he did. Assume he would want to bring in one or two of them IF he joins.
Mike Marsh (Assistant)
Martyn Margetson (Goalkeeper Coach)
Steve Rands (Head of Performance Analysis)
David Tivey (Fitness Coach)
Marsh and Tivey were part of the England set-up that won the Under-17 World Cup along with Cooper in 2017.
Margetson has been with the club since June 2019 and is also the England senior team’s goalkeeper coach.
Rands also joined the club in the summer of 2019. He previously worked for Manchester City for seven years, during which time they won three Premier League titles.

Mike Marsh (Assistant)
Martyn Margetson (Goalkeeper Coach) (...)
Steve Rands (Head of Performance Analysis). *(Should get on well with Dane.)
David Tivey (Fitness Coach)

Margetson has been with the club since June 2019 and is also the England senior team’s goalkeeper coach. (Keeper coaching. Might need that.)

Some pedigree then.

Have we not just employed a head of performance analysis a couple of weeks back?

A CEO who is all about the data. Hopefully his data doesn't get Forest relegated.
Part of me wants to hit the fast forward button on Plan B to see where we are 3 more transfer windows from now. (Hopefully, we'll have an ice bath installed...and a mop and bucket for the stands.). But I'd be wishing my life away.

I really hope that they do appoint Cooper as the manager, I have been a fan of his since they made us look very ordinary, I like the way he likes to see football being played and I definitely won't be unhappy if he is the man that they appoint.

Yep thats Syrianos
Cant see him being moved on so quickly, unless of course they want a fall guy for the recruitment this summer.
There is Chris Brass newly arrived too although I think he works more with the academy?
I doubt Cooper or any manager will get free reign who to bring in, one potential stumbling block and why it isnt done and dusted yet.

I'll hold you to that when you're saying he was a terrible appointment in a few weeks :D
