Steve Cooper is on #NFFC's radar after the sacking of Chris Hughton. Successive play-off finishes with Swansea City and reputation for coaching/improving younger players. Not the only candidate, but the main target and I expect it will happen.
I would be happier with him than an unknown or some other names we have been linked with.
Exactly where I am.

He did a good job at Swansea, but my god he's an ugly b*****d!!!
Just what I was thinking Tricks. Ugly face, nice football.
Cooper another boring negative 4,2,3,1 mercant, brilliant so much for a new ethos, we can't step away for defensive football

Go and ask a few Swans what they think of Cooper.

I think the difference with Cooper will be that you'd expect him to be able to improve some players by coaching. We were expecting Hughton to do the same but it simply didint happen. Not one single player has improved or emerged under Hughton.

horrendous timing, too late, and all the candidates we like and respect have already been trashed by this club
this morning don't feel good
this season was written off at the end of last season and ditto for last season, our season's optimism is dead after 7 games

Yep transfermarkt suggests his preferred formation is 4231 :D
Made playoffs last year but scored 23 goals less than Brentford. The football will likely be similar to Sabri's tenure.
Also worth noting that until this season Swansea had parachute payments, so Cooper had a distinct financial advantage and a few players like Ayew left over from the prem days.

My recollection though is that he improved them. Might be wrong but until he was appointed they were coasting.

"There were never any qualms when it came to results. Cooper probably overachieved in that respect but the style of play was a recurring gripe.
There were spells when his Swansea team was pleasing on the eye but for the most part the style of play under Cooper was defensive, lacking in invention and short on adventure or flair.
Only three teams recorded fewer shots than Swansea in the Championship last season, demonstrating a lack of creativity within the side. They averaged 50 per cent possession per game which was only the 10 th best record in the division. Their pass completion rate of 73 per cent was the lowest for any Swansea season since the pre-Martinez era.
Swansea’s success, particularly in Cooper’s second season, was largely based on a strong defence and grinding out results. It was undoubtedly effective but it was not pretty or exciting to watch."

Nope, when will we ever learn and do our research. My days the dull just gets even duller. Huge appointment for this club and they are going to get it wrong yet again.
Do they just want to torture us? They always speak about the matchday experience being better, well give us an attacking manager that will at least have a go that will get bums off seats.
Another borefest coming in.
