Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point ofview) this is exactly type of match that tends to get the manager the sack. Although the performance is not bad and is showing some signs of improvement, it is not enough after the string of results they've had.

I was surprised he lasted until today and i would probably say that if there were two managers you would not want to go up against to save your job it is the wily and crafty combo of mccarthy and warnock.
