Your Thoughts On The Current Nottingham Forest Manager
If any of this is true, then we can all kiss goodbye to the brand new shiny stand we have been looking forward to. It would explain why everything has ground to a halt with regards to the redevelopment.

Can’t fault EM for his investment but the strategy and competence at board level has left much to be desired.
We paid bills, got cat1 and stayed just inside of FFP but what improvements have actually been made in EMs tenure? This looks a little like a rinse and repeat of Fawaz but with a better finance department and professional PR.
Hope I’m wrong… I am very weary of American investment

Weren't Forest one of two clubs approached for sale (it was mentioned in another thread...can't remember which one) and they were available for sale?  ie.  The answer wasn't 'no.'

The money has been there.  It hasn't been spent well.  Nor patience shown with the managers (Eg. Warburton, Aitor, MoN.). We bet the farm on Carvalho and then got rid of the manager who wasn't incorporating him into his system.

I hope Marinakis is staying.  I don't doubt his intentions.  I was hoping we'd get the 'Olympiacos' at Forest because they've done a great job over there.

But the lack of sizeable investment in a striker for the last several years tells its own tale.  It may send us down.  Somebody has to score the goals.  Did well getting Grabban but we never followed it up with a Target Man class striker to back it up.  So we could do to Cardiff what they did to us.

Hmm.  I hope not.  On the back of the loss to Cardiff, this is a kick in the jegs.  :/

We'll have the planning permission, at least, for the next set of investors.  It will be a 'selling point.'  If Mari' is selling.

'If.'

Could it be us?

Looks at the floor.  You know.

It's never 'dull' (unless you count the football 2nd half vs Cardiff...) following Forest.

So getting married was a cover for an investor group?  (Says, tongue in cheek.)

The current stands are going to rack and ruin. Nothing stopping them sorting that out

The 'old lady' has been rusting and neglected for some time.

They could try cleaning the seats for the customers, at least.

They did clean the seats before the first game.

10 mins before kick off a clearly overworked woman came down the row armed with a filthy cloth and gave every seat a quick wipe over presumably transferring whatever crap was on the previous seat onto the next.

Why this cleaning was done with the crowd already in place when they had 18months to do it without crowds I cannot understand. Why they bothered to do it at all if the cleaning was done in such a half arsed manner makes even less sense.

A very minor point but its one of many.
