Hopefully that's because we're all congratulating Dane on his fantastic patience and still high on the 7-0 drubbing of Derby from the Saturday before.
(Taylor hat-trick, Worrall one and then Carv hat-trick off the bench in case you wanted to place a bet!)

Saving money for the 'quality' signings and a class striker. I remember when Forest used to go out and get Collymore in the 2nd division for a couple of million. Or a Brian Roy to give us a 'touch' of class.
73%. We can only sell if we get the value we want. We can't have the likes of Brentford taking the pish.
Sometimes you have to speculate to accumulate. The time to do that was in the January window under Sabri. But we stuffed it up.
We can still push for mid-table and beyond if we just get LB and striker etc filled with transformative quality.
We've sold Appiah and Cash for large sums of money. It seems that the supposed Worrall deal would have given the club more breathing room.
We've put off getting a striker for far too long. I hope we don't have to sell under duress to keep Forest in this division.

Poor acquisitions put pay to that, the decision making process by the powers that be within the club are more than questionable and we have paid the price for people's mistakes and for the club being run badly, lessons definitely haven't been learnt.
'The recruitment and selection of good players.' (paraphrasing) Peter Taylor.
And until we do that. We're going nowhere but down in all likelihood.

Absolutely and that is where the repeated mistakes have cost us and are really hurting us now. Were paying that price and big time.

For our lack of vision and patience.
Sooner or later that short-term ism (see Randall's comments...) backs up and you have to clear it out as it festers. (He's not my boss why should I play for him?). You just have a pot pouri of mixed ideas and a jumble sale of a squad. (Just here picking up my wages mate, you don't know who the manager will be in 6 months...). 'Who signed him?' (I dunno mate, wasn't he a hold over from Aitor's squad? Say, when was the last time we spend money on a striker... 'Don't know mate, I've forgotten my name...' etc.)
