A sleeping giant in the championship could be available at the right price with interest from American speculators.
We all know about derby that’s already well known. But I can’t see any sleeping giants in the championship apart from ourselves?
You think Dane is a front for that and he got in there first?
Total speculation, mind. I'm sure some Yanks were interested a while back.
sorry removed names, so let's imagine fictional football club embarking on a journey....
'owners' can make it very simple to discern 'failure' maybe even sinking it to new depths of the real comprehension of what failure is
the 1 thing they are all amazing at is covering up whether 'a club' is at the end or not, i'm hoping it's the end
besides all of the last 12 months, the last few weeks seems particularly diabolical with the pre season coming a close 2nd, the transfer window could even now turn out amazing but that could be a mirage and end up beating the last year and pre season and start to the new 21/22 season to most diabolical farce of the century
on the other hand if 'the end' doesn't exist to the owners neither does failure, as long as there is no 'end' we are all on an exciting journey to the promised land, the dark days/weeks/months/year are just part of the adventure, might be time to wake up and smell the coffee?

Slightly off topic so I apologise to myself but Nixon I think every week for the last two months he's come out with something so called Forest related and none of it has materialised. Zero, zilch. The bloke is stealing a living.
Back on track with EM and Co.

Mari' is ruthless. But he's our ruthless. They've done the right to take it 'on the chin' and appoint a new CEO and that is in no way back handed to Mr. V who has been, on many layers a shrewd deal maker and helped steward Forest to many off the field structural changes and progress. The appointment of Dane by Mr. V(?) a parting gift?
I'm confident he'll get Forest there. In Time. The only error in the last four years was chasing short term-ism on the playing side and a lack of managerial patience. We're just not quite able to spend our way out of this division. So a change of tack for the Championship was enforced.
It's just a matter of on the field matters catching up with the changes off it.
All the off the field stuff is gradually getting there. Even the new Stand. Tier Academy. It would all make Forest attractive to potential investors...

I am happy with the current ownership and I for one actually think were heading in the right direction as a whole and the things we have done behind the scenes this summer could go a long way to righting the wrongs that have gone before.
That will take a bit of time to bare the fruits of that work.

Actions speak louder than words. Hope everything they promise happens. It’s a good start removing
Vrentzos.

We'll see about that in the long run to be fair.
It's not been a good start from where I am sitting.
Yes Vrentzos failed at recruitment but succeeded in other things.
Dane may succeed in recruitment but completely fail in other things.
We'll see. Hand on heart for the sake of the club I hope he does well.

What did Vrentzos succeed at whilst at Nottingham Forest
